Part-Time Nanny / Housekeeper Wanted – Newport Pagnell

A warm and friendly family of four based in Newport Pagnell

are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and caring part-time nanny/housekeeper to support a busy household.

They have:

  • A gentle and responsible 5-year-old daughter
  • An active 18-month-old son who is walking confidently and starting to talk

With both parents working, thy are looking for a trustworthy “mother’s helper” to assist with childcare and light household duties three days per week.

Working Hours

  • 2:00pm – 7:00pm
  • 3 days per week
  • Days can be Monday to Thursday, flexible for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a light snack for our daughter and cook dinner for the family
  • Pick up our daughter from school at 3:15pm and bring her home
  • Assist our daughter with snacks and getting changed
  • Walk with our daughter (5 minutes) to collect our son from nursery
  • Care for our toddler: tidying up, offering drinks, and engaging in play
  • Engage both children in age-appropriate play, reading, and learning activities (including outdoor time)
  • Serve dinner to the children at 5:00pm
  • Light household duties while parents manage bedtime:
  • Cleaning and tidying the kitchen, dining, and living areas
  • Children’s laundry (washing machine and dryer)
  • Resetting the kitchen for breakfast

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience caring for children of similar ages
  • Non-smoker
  • Valid and recent DBS check
  • Full driving licence and own car (essential for school and nursery pickups)
  • Confident with nappy changes and maintaining high hygiene standards
