Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Help with the delivery and storage of supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
  • Support the team during busy service periods by assisting with any additional tasks as required.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

  • A strong interest in hospitality and culinary arts, with a willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively during busy service times.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
