Full job description

Aramark UK is looking to hire a Kitchen Porter to join their fantastic team at Gateshead College, NE83BE.


This is an exciting, varied zero hour contract role supporting the Kitchen and Front of House (FOH) teams as needed and keeping those areas neat and tidy.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Porter:

  • Delivering food to outlets on-site.
  • Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant.
  • Supporting the kitchen and FOH team where possible.
  • Ensuring FOH and BOH are clean and tidy.
  • Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas.
  • Removing waste from waste containers and disposal in the correct external bins.

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Customer focused and a strong communicator.
  • Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties.
