Job Overview
3 hours per day over 4-5 days
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial premises. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas including offices, washrooms, corridors, commercial kitchens and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring a hygienic environment.
