Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food and service excellence, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant management. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Manage and motivate staff, including serving personnel, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant
  • Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to optimise productivity
  • Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Assist in the development of menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating innovative dishes and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain stock levels, order supplies as necessary, and manage inventory efficiently
  • Implement training programmes for new staff members on service standards and food safety protocols
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and optimise operational profitability

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and inspire staff
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations governing food production and service
  • Experience in hospitality management including overseeing service delivery in a busy setting
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety procedures and kitchen organisation
  • Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
