Full job description

With over 2,000 customers per week, we are one of the busiest indoor family entertainment centres in the county – and one of the best.

We are not your typical play centre. WE ARETHE BEST IN THE UK – Winners of Association of Indoor Play Awards 2024.

So what makes us so popular? - High standards, great facilities, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and superb food!

Our food is freshly cooked to order and is more comparable to good quality pub food – we don’t do the fast food offered by most play centres. We do as many adult meals as we do children’s meals – and they just keep coming back for more and more!

We are now looking for an experienced chef to join our team of two full time chefs.

We are open 7 days per week – but there is no late evening work or split shifts.

You will typically be working 4 or 5 days per week in varying shift patterns including some weekends, between 9am and 5pm. Averaging around 30 to 40 hours p/w

Working under the Head Chef, the ideal candidate will:

· Be able to prepare, cook and present high quality home cooked food on a cook to order basis

· Be able to work efficiently under pressure as part of the team

· Take pride in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and safety

· Have a flexible attitude to working patterns.

· Enjoy being a valuable part of the wider team to ensure the best customer experience

This is a full-time permanent position
