Full job description

We require a full time Technician to join our small geotechnical team based in Surrey.

The role is split between site works and some laboratory testing of soil samples to the appropriate British Standards (BS 5930 and BS 1377).

Completion of site works, including operating dynamic sampling equipment, probing, manual handling and labouring.

Ensure that laboratory testing and soil sampling is carried out to high standards of safety, quality and efficiency. Maintaining an orderly and neat lab environment.

Qualifications and Experience:Previous soils laboratory experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full in-house training will be given.

GCSE or A-Level qualifications in Science or Engineering based subjects preferred. Site work is required, so a driving license valid for driving in the UK is required.

Salary dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time with flexible shift patterns
