Trafford Leisure have an exciting opportunity for a Leisure Supervisor (Qualified Lifeguard) to join the team.

Location: move Urmston, Bowfell Road, M41 5RR

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: 36.25 per week, with a varied shift pattern over 3 weeks of earlies, lates and 1 in 3 weekends

Job Type: Permanent

Please note to be eligible for this position you MUST have a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

The Role:

As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring our facilities run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a welcoming environment for all visitors, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
• Supporting the Duty Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures and maintaining smooth facility management.
• Handling challenging situations with professionalism, guiding the team to resolve customer concerns effectively.
• Collaborating across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement, working with your Manager to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Engaging with visitors, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
• Driving sales and retention, building relationships, generating leads, and promoting our services.
• Maintaining equipment and activity areas, ensuring everything is clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Setting up for scheduled programmes, preparing spaces and equipment as needed.
• Providing lifeguard support, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for all.

To be successful in the role of Leisure Supervisor:

You will have:

• A valid Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
• Experience in a supervisory or team leader role, or the potential to step into one confidently.
