SPLIT SHIFTS, HOURS TO SUIT, SET DAYS

Various areas - Fulwood, Chorley, Penwortham,

Tired of rushed visits and box-ticking care? Want to actually make a difference?

Looking for a change? Want to give something meaningful, do it with purpose and feel proud of your work?

Join a team where you’re valued, supported and able to do the job properly.

At Home's Best, we don’t just “deliver care” – we build relationships.
We stay. We listen. We chat.
Because we believe people deserve more than 15-minute drop-ins and task-based tick boxes.

We're now hiring part-time care staff in Preston who want to care with heart – and work somewhere that respects it.

The Role – What You’ll Do:

  • Work 2–3 full days a week (between 8am–9pm with breaks)
  • OR choose half-day shifts to suit your lifestyle
  • Support a small group of regular clients – no endless call-hopping
  • Provide thoughtful care for people living with:
  • Dementia
  • Chronic illness
  • Learning disabilities
  • Mental health conditions
  • End-of-life care
  • Make time for what matters – not just tasks, but genuine connection

What You’ll Need:

  • A driving licence and your own car
  • Either care experience or a genuine desire to learn and make a difference
  • A warm, dependable nature and a heart for people

What We Offer:

  • Increases based on loyalty, skill and contribution
  • Mileage reimbursed (if over 10 miles per day)
  • Training and shadowing (fully paid)
  • DBS refunded after three months
  • A small, friendly team led by people with nursing and social work backgrounds
  • A role where you’re supported, respected and never rushed

Why Home's Best?

At Home's Best, we’re more than managers – every single member of our leadership team has worked as a domiciliary carer.
We know what this role takes. We understand the pressure, the emotional load, the joy and the reality of front-line care. And we’re here to support you through it.

We created this service because we believed carers – and the people they care for – deserve better.

We stay longer. We pay attention. We value the little things.
We believe in real, person-centred care. Not just doing tasks – but doing them with heart.

This is what we’re looking for:

Someone who:

  • Wants to feel proud of the work they do
  • Believes care should be personal, not pressured
  • Wants to give something meaningful, do it with purpose and feel proud of it

If that sounds like you – we need you.
Apply now to join the Preston team at Home's Best. Interviews are happening this week.

If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Care Worker.

Job Type: Part-time
