Logistics Coordinator - Denaby, Doncaster

OQEMA are one of the leading chemical distribution companies for commodities and specialities within Europe and as part of our investment programme for the site, we are looking to expand the team and are seeking a Logistics Coordinator based in Denaby, Doncaster.

Working within the chemical distribution industry, we are looking for candidates who have high level of attention to detail and accuracy, along with a strong proficiency in the use of MS office. We will consider all levels of candidates including graduates wanting to take their first opportunity of working in the Chemical Industry.

Hours of work are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday and are office based.

The role will involve;

  • Creating OQEMA Certificate of Analysis based on supplier’s C of A
  • Sending Certificate of Analysis to customers upon dispatch of product.
  • Raise and process warehouse picking instructions
  • Raise and process Good Received Notes
  • Book timely transport with the relevant third-party hauler by email or their portal
  • Enter and maintain accurate stock records in IFS (e.g. goods receipt, shelf location, goods dispatch) & on Excel spreadsheet
  • Prepare and print appropriate labelling for products using the label printing software
  • Raise and expediting purchase orders for site requirements (eg packaging, office supplies)
  • Managing Returnable packaging records
  • Arranging sample dispatch requests using Salesforce and dispatch with courier
  • Approving and processing invoices related to Logistics
  • Preparing KPI reports for Logistics Department

Working Monday to Friday, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package. This is a great opportunity for someone has previous experience within a logistics/warehousing administrative function or a graduate looking for their first step into the chemical industry.

The position is required to be fulfilled immediately and is based onsite at our offices in Denaby, Doncaster five days per week within our friendly team.
