3t is currently looking to recruit an Operations Support Coordinator on a permanent contract in Aberdeen, Newcastle or Teesside, UK.

The Role

The Operations Support Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and administration of training delivery across the England division. The role supports instructors, facilities, and internal teams to ensure training is delivered on time, to standard, and in line with operational capacity. The postholder will also be trained to carry out face-fit testing as part of wider operational support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

  • Support planning of training delivery for both centre-based and client-site courses
  • Schedule all course dates, including advanced planning and reactive scheduling to meet demand
  • Assist with managing instructional staff holidays, CPD, internal/external training, and verification requirements
  • Participate in planning meetings to support longer-term capacity planning, growth targets, and resource optimisation

Instructor, Resource & Facility Coordination

  • Coordinate external instructors and assessors to meet delivery demands
  • Raise purchase orders and check invoices in line with agreed processes
  • Liaise with other UK centres to coordinate instructors, equipment, and facilities
  • Maintain high levels of instructor and facility utilisation

Travel & Logistics

  • Coordinate off-site travel and accommodation for the delivery team and other staff as required

Face-Fit Testing & Operational Support

  • Carry out face-fit testing following training and certification
  • Support day-to-day email enquiries relating to training planning and delivery

Reporting & Administration

  • Provide accurate reporting and general administrative support across the operations function
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support the wider operations team

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
