To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking an Order Checker to ensure our picked products from our warehouse are correct so that we can prepare for these items to be distributed to our customers.

This will be working within the Coldstore at our Belle Eau Park depot.

Available shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 18:00-06:00

Rate of pay: £12.94 per hour, plus £50.00 per week shift allowance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review load/batches delivered to verify quantity and type of material.

  • Create and apply labels showing quantity and type of material/product.

  • Report amount of materials and items transported, received, and distributed.

  • Weigh or count items for distribution within the warehouse to determine and ensure we meet company standards and customer expectations.

  • Report damages and claims to management completing inventory control.

  • Process inbound/outbound orders safely and accurately.

  • Loading and unloading vehicles using power pallet trucks.

  • You will do this in a cold environment - approximately minus 25 Celsius - just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE.

Who we're looking for:

  • Accuracy is important so someone who likes to get things right first time.

  • Things are heavy so you will need to lift up to 18kg (that's about 10 bags of sugar).

  • You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.

  • Having some experience loading and unloading vehicles within a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
