Italian Speaking Claims Administrator

Location: London (on-site)

BDB Europe SRL-UK Branch is a dynamic and well-established Lloyd’s Broker. With over 30 years of experience across Italy, France, UK, Belgium and Netherlands, we pride ourselves on our rich history, heritage, and unwavering drive. We specialise in arranging wholesale insurance products and services through Lloyd’s Insurance Company SA and The London Market, covering a wide range of risks including accident and health, property, liability, professional indemnity, motor, yacht, and fine art.

We are seeking a motivated individual who shares our values and can help balance workloads while contributing to the future growth of our business. No prior claims experience is required.

About you:

  • Languages: fluent Italian and good English (essential)
  • Very good numerical skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Good administrative experience
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Very good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Efficient prioritising and organising skills
  • Team player

The day to day:

  • opening and closing claim files
  • handling claim files from first loss notification to settlement and closure
  • updating statistics
  • day to day claim duties
  • liaising with underwriters, loss adjusters, lawyers and brokers.
