Overview

Oakley Hall Hotel is one of the finest venues in Hampshire. A luxury 4 star property located just 6 miles outside of Basingstoke and situated amongst 315 acres of country estate. Beautifully restored to its former self, Oakley Hall offers a perfect setting for accommodation, weddings, conferences, team building and corporate events.

We are looking for a Casual Night Porter to cover 10pm to 6am (zero hours contract). As Night Porter you will be responsible for:

  • The health and safety of Hotel Guests during the night;
  • Checking guests in & out;
  • Carrying out regular security checks;
  • Occasional bar service and room service;
  • Setting up for Conferences and banqueting events;
  • Assisting with weekly cleaning tasks for the Food & Beverage Department;
  • Preparing for breakfast and the putting out of the Breakfast Buffet.

The ideal person will have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as IT and numeracy skills and a high level of customer service. Opera system knowledge and previous experience is preferable but not required as full training will be provided.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
