HGV/Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV/Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of vehicles, as well as customer vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial vehicle mechanics and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles.

* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

* Carrying out servicing and preventative maintenance.

* Completing all work to a high standard, ensuring vehicles meet safety regulations.

* Maintaining accurate records of work completed.

* Working efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HGV/Commercial Vehicle Mechanic.

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

* Comprehensive knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and components.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

* Relevant qualifications and certifications are a bonus.
