£130,000 – £140,000 + Executive Package

The Company

An exceptional opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s foremost construction companies, recognised for delivering some of the nation’s most prestigious and technically complex capital projects..
As the organisation continues to expand its presence within the healthcare sector, they’re looking to appoint an accomplished Sector Director – Healthcare to lead strategic growth across the UK. This is a senior leadership appointment focused on developing long-term partnerships, influencing healthcare investment strategies and securing major capital opportunities before they enter procurement.

This role centres on strategic engagement, client/market influence and helping shape the future of healthcare infrastructure.

The Role

Reporting directly into the Key Account Director, you’ll take ownership of driving the organisation’s healthcare growth strategy nationwide. You’ll establish and strengthen relationships with NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), NHS England and private healthcare providers, positioning the business as a trusted partner for major healthcare developments and capital investment programmes.

Working alongside operational leaders, technical specialists, Marketing and bid teams, you’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities early, influencing strategic frameworks and helping secure nationally significant healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships across NHS Trusts, ICSs and wider healthcare organisations.
  • Identify future healthcare capital investment opportunities ahead of formal procurement.
  • Lead strategic client engagement across major healthcare frameworks and programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with operational and technical teams to develop tailored client strategies.
  • Influence key framework appointments and long-term healthcare investment opportunities.
  • Act as executive sponsor for strategically important healthcare accounts.
  • Support bid development activities to maximise win rates.
  • Represent the business at conferences, networking events and executive-level client meetings.
  • Provide valuable market insight to support the ongoing healthcare growth strategy.

About You

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced client-facing professional with a strong network across the healthcare sector and a proven ability to build lasting relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • A strong understanding of NHS capital investment programmes and healthcare estates.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement and framework delivery.
  • Experience supporting or influencing major healthcare capital programmes.
  • Exposure to initiatives such as ProCure23, the New Hospital Programme, Hospital 2.0 or similar national healthcare frameworks would be highly beneficial.
