About Us:
We are a recognized exam centre hosting GCSE examinations for private candidates. We are committed to providing a fair, professional, and supportive assessment experience for every learner.

We are seeking multiple assessors to conduct the spoken segment of GCSE Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) examinations for private candidates. You will assess candidates’ speaking skills according to exam board criteria in a structured and professional setting.

Exam Boards Hosted: AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge, Eduqas

The exams will be hosted between 30th March 2026 - 11th April 2026. Dates will formally be scheduled closer to the time.

Languages assessors are needed for:

  • Arabic
  • Chinese (Mandarin) - Filled
  • French
  • Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Conduct GCSE spoken assessments in accordance with the exam board guidelines.
  • Accurately record and fill in relevant paperwork
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all exam centre policies.

Requirements:

  • Native-level or highly proficient speaker of the language being assessed.
  • Experience assessing GCSE-level MFL (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with GCSE assessment criteria and exam protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual.
  • Flexibility to work around examination schedules.

Salary:

£30 per candidate assessed. Payment is made only for the number of candidates assessed

Previous figures suggest there could be up to 10 candidates for a subject.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
