Full job description

MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER

A vacancy has become available for a full-time multi-skilled engineer based at Brazen Island maintenance facility.

This is a permanent position working for Fowey Harbour Commissioners and is based on a 40-hour working week, some overtime work may be required.

Fowey Harbour operate a variety of vessels, plant and other equipment; the successful candidate must be flexible and prepared to turn their hand to a wide variety of tasks. The majority of work will be based ashore although working afloat will also be required.

Engineering experience is essential; a candidate with varied skills and knowledge would be preferred for this diverse role, although additional training will be provided where required.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, have good communication skills and able to work in a team environment.

A competitive salary package accompanies the post and will reflect experience.
