About The Role

Please Note: For candidates with appropriate experience, there may be an opportunity to be considered for a Head of Year position.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our growing school, which was graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in May 2025. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing and ambitious department. You will deliver a well-structured and engaging mathematics curriculum, set clear expectations for behaviour and achievement, and create a positive learning environment in which students of all abilities can thrive.

We are looking for a teacher who is committed to securing strong outcomes, fostering mathematical confidence, and supporting students in developing the skills and habits needed for success. The ability to teach across the full age and ability range is essential, and an interest in contributing to the development of our Key Stage 4 and future Key Stage 5 provision would be welcomed.

As a valued member of our team, you will build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families, and contribute fully to the wider life of the school.

If you are committed to high standards and keen to develop your practice within a supportive and forward-looking school community, we would welcome your application.

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

Interviews will take place on 27th February 2026

What will you do?
  • Be responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes and pastoral arrangements as appropriate
  • Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach
  • Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly
  • Participate in any relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the school, which relate to the learners, curriculum or organisation of the school including pastoral arrangements and assemblies
