About The Role
Reporting to the Group Engineering Projects Manager, the role will include the consideration, investigation, development of the scope of works, tendering of work packages, submission for approval and implementation of Capital Projects and schemes for the AAH Warehouses and facilities. An appreciation and experience of the management of multi-disciplined projects would benefit the applicant. The role includes responsibility for the governance and management of CAPEX projects.
The AAH sites are distributed throughout the UK, Group Engineering when required provide project management support to the AAH site teams to ensure compliant, effective and efficient project delivery. Inevitably the experience and knowledge of the successful applicant will also assist in the development of designs and solutions in fulfilment of the business needs of AAH.
Accountabilities
- Engineering Project Management and governance.
- Implementation of Engineering Projects to the Group Engineering Project Management Process.
- To undertake the role and activities of Project Management to ensure all CAPEX Projects are delivered to scope, on time and in budget.
- Working with other members of the Group Engineering Dept in the development of projects, namely the Automation Development and FM Teams.
- Policing and communication of the Group Engineering CAPEX process, to ensure all documentation is completed and managed through the life cycle of a project.
- Manage synergies with other projects including interdepartmental communications.
- Audit in-flight projects against relevant Standards, Guidelines and Regulatory Documents.
- Successful delivery of approved CAPEX Projects managed by the Group Engineering
- Provision of accurate documentation, including AutoCAD drawings and layouts, etc.

About You
- Previous Project Management experience (minimum 5 years)
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (minimum HNC, ideal Degree)
- Experience and working knowledge of a Project Management Process.
- Experience in FMCG or Distribution industries.
- Understanding and experience in all Project Management roles.
- Able to work too, produce and regulate Engineering Standards.
- AutoCAD skills and experience in the development of drawings and layouts, etc.
- Full Driving License
