Video Podcast Studio Engineer

Location: EC1V Loncon

Salary: £30,000 to £45,000

About the role

We are looking for a Video Podcast Studio Engineer to manage the day-to-day running of our video podcast studio. You will coordinate bookings, prepare and run multicamera recording sessions, support hosts and guests, and edit and deliver finished video podcast episodes.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the studio calendar, bookings and recording schedule, including confirming session details with hosts, guests and clients.
  • Coordinate studio availability, preparation time, equipment needs and changes to bookings.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, audio interfaces and recording equipment.
  • Monitor video and audio quality throughout each session, checking framing, focus, lighting, sound levels and recording status.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during recordings and keep sessions on schedule.
  • Edit multicamera video podcasts, synchronise audio, colour-correct footage and prepare final exports.
  • Edit and mix audio to ensure clear, consistent sound.
  • Create short clips for social media where required.
  • Organise, back up and securely store recordings and project files.
  • Maintain studio equipment and report faults or replacement needs.
  • Provide a welcoming, professional experience for hosts and guests.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience filming and editing video podcasts, interviews or similar multicamera content.
  • Confidence operating cameras, lighting and professional audio equipment.
  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
  • A good understanding of audio recording, editing and mixing.
  • Strong scheduling, organisation and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines while remaining calm during live recordings.

Experience with live streaming, remote guests or producing short-form social media content would be an advantage.
