Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair.
  • Perform routine maintenance on Gas systems to prevent issues.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose Gas problems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain work being done and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work vehicle and job site.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Engineer.
  • Valid plumbing certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Plumbing and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £60.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Gas Engineer: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • UK Driving Licence (preferred)
