Role Overview

Dibor is a premium British homeware and garden brand, known for timeless design and exceptional quality. We are seeking a commercially driven Merchandiser to manage stock, sales performance, and margin across our product ranges.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, supporting strong trading performance across our e-commerce business.

Key ResponsibilitiesMerchandising & Trading

  • Manage sales, stock, and intake plans across homeware, garden, and seasonal ranges
  • Analyse daily, weekly, and seasonal sales performance to identify risks and opportunities
  • Support trading decisions to maximise revenue, sell-through, and margin
  • Monitor availability and ensure core and seasonal lines are adequately stocked

Stock & Forecasting

  • Forecast demand and manage stock levels to optimise cash flow and minimise overstock
  • Plan re-orders and manage intake in line with trading performance and lead times
  • Work closely with Buying to align range plans with budget and stock strategy
  • Manage end-of-line, clearance, and markdown strategies

Commercial Analysis

  • Produce regular reports on sales, stock turn, margin, and availability
  • Identify underperforming products and recommend actions
  • Support pricing and promotional planning in collaboration with Buying and Marketing

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Buying, E-commerce, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Support key trading periods including seasonal launches and peak events
  • Provide insights to inform range development and future buying decisions

Skills & ExperienceEssential

  • Proven experience as a Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser (e-commerce or retail)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Experience in homeware, garden, or gifting categories
  • E-commerce or DTC merchandising experience
  • Knowledge of stock planning and forecasting tools
