ROLE: Mobile Mechanical Supervisor
HOURS: 08:00 - 17:00
LOCATION: North West London based (Mobile)

We're looking for a Mobile Mechanical Supervisor who will lead and support a team of mobile engineers delivering mechanical maintenance and reactive services across a diverse estate.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of mobile mechanical engineers, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all assigned sites.
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor workloads, ensuring maintenance, repairs, and compliance tasks are completed efficiently and within SLAs.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and escalation management for all mechanical systems and associated building services.
  • Conduct site audits, quality checks, and toolbox talks to ensure safe working practices and adherence to Mitie standards.
  • Review and approve engineer reports, job sheets, and documentation, ensuring accurate recording of completed works.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, service partners, and internal teams to support smooth operational delivery.
  • Manage materials, parts, and procurement to ensure timely completion of planned and reactive tasks.
  • Support on-call arrangements, providing supervisory oversight where required.
  • Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

  • Recognised mechanical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Experience supervising or leading engineering teams in a building services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, mechanical plant, and associated systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and safe systems of work (e.g., RAMS, permit to work process).
