Full job description

Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the basic operation of machinery and equipment used in production
- Handle materials and tools safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions and job-cards to complete tasks
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Desirable skills:
- Forklift certification
- Previous experience in steel industry

This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and enjoys working with in a factory floor environment. Training will be provided to develop the necessary skills for success in this role.

Starting hourly rate will be between £13.10/hr and £13.70/hr depending on experience; overtime is paid at x 1.5 usual rate between Monday - Saturday, and x 2 on Sundays.

There is also a £50 Attendance and Timekeeping Bonus, paid monthly, which you would be eligible for after 1 month completed work.

Successful candidates will be working from 9am - 5:30pm.

Wage is paid monthly, 12th of each Month.
