Drive Your Career Forward with Scorpion Automotive

Do you want a career opportunity, or just a job? If you’re looking to join a winning team, read on. Scorpion Automotive specialises in making driving safer, more secure, and more sustainable, and since 2018 we’ve grown from a £4 million business to a £45 million one. That kind of growth tells us we’re doing something right – but there’s still plenty of road ahead. There are 1.5 billion vehicles on the planet today, and we’ve only captured a fraction of that market, which leaves well over a billion still to reach. That’s the scale of opportunity we’re inviting you to be part of.

At Scorpion Automotive, we're passionate about innovation, technology, and protecting what matters most to our customers. As one of the UK's leading providers of vehicle security, tracking, and fleet management solutions, we're proud of our reputation for excellence, customer service, and continuous growth.

We're looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager – UK Club (Motorcycle) to join our team. Whether you're looking to take the next step in your career or bring your expertise to a growing organisation, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

We're more than just a workplace. We are a team of passionate, dedicated individuals who support one another, celebrate successes together, and continuously look for ways to innovate and improve.

We value integrity, accountability, teamwork, and customer focus. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where your contribution is recognised and valued, we'd love to hear from you.

Scorpion Automotive is proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer.

We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and able to reach their full potential. We welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.

We believe that a diverse workforce strengthens our business, drives innovation, and helps us better serve our customers and communities.

About the Role

Datatool is one of the best-known names in motorcycle security, and as Business Development Manager for our UK Club channel, you’ll be the driving force behind growing that reputation through a nationwide network of motorcycle dealers.

You’ll take the reins on a portfolio of existing dealer relationships, acting as their day-to-day contact within Scorpion Automotive, while also scouting out new dealer partners in the regions where we’re underrepresented.

Working hand in hand with our Datatool Channel Manager and the wider commercial team, you’ll set targets, review performance, and build the plans that help each dealer sell more, all while getting out to bike shows, exhibitions, and industry events to keep the Datatool name front of mind.

This is a role for someone who loves the open road as much as a well-run diary: confident pitching to workshop owners and senior decision-makers alike, comfortable owning their own patch and their own numbers, and genuinely passionate about the motorcycle world.

If two wheels are your thing and you want to build a channel that dealers actually want to be part of, this is the job for you.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

✔ Proven experience in business development, account management, or field sales, ideally within the automotive, telematics, or vehicle security sectors
✔ A track record of managing dealer or distributor networks, or similar B2B channel relationships
✔ Confident communicator who can present to workshop owners, fleet managers, and senior decision-makers alike
✔ Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on the road, managing your own schedule and priorities
✔ Commercially minded with experience working to sales targets and KPIs
✔ Good understanding of CRM tools and pipeline management

Desirable:

⭐ Experience with telematics products, GPS tracking systems, or vehicle security (Thatcham-approved products in particular)
⭐ Existing relationships with automotive dealers, installers, or fleet operators
⭐ Knowledge of the insurance-approved vehicle security market

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our values, takes pride in their work, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Why Join Scorpion Automotive?

We believe people are at the heart of our success, which is why we are committed to creating a workplace where our employees can thrive.

What You Can Expect:

✅ Competitive salary and benefits package
✅ Career development and progression opportunities
✅ Training and ongoing professional development
✅ Supportive and collaborative working environment
✅ Employee recognition initiatives
✅ Modern and growing business with ambitious plans for the future
✅ The opportunity to make a real difference from day one

Ready to Apply?

If you're excited about this opportunity and believe you have the skills and experience we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and take the next step in your career with Scorpion Automotive.
