Full job description

As Multi Drop Delivery Driver you will report to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for multi customer drops to fulfil customer orders.

  • The safe and efficient receipt, movement and storage of goods via company vehicle and manifest, maintenance of POD paperwork
  • To maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy condition and adhere to all DVSA regulations
  • To plan the most effective and efficient routes to suit delivery schedule and to minimise diesel usage where possible
  • To work efficiently and safely in the operation of machinery to lift and load material onto wagon to driver’s manifest provided
  • To assist in the management of stock in the warehouse through good housekeeping and maintenance of quality control procedures when not driving
  • To collect customer payments when required and to pass on to admin or management upon return
  • To work as part of a team with warehouse operatives to load and unload materials in timely fashion
  • To show courtesy and be helpful to customers/suppliers when collecting, delivering or returning materials to warehouse

delivering to London, South Coast and Midlands will be required.

Multi drop driving experience is ESSENTIAL.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour

  • Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)
