Conveniently located in the heart of the City of London and founded in 2011, London Bass Institute is a fantastic guitar academy for adult bass guitar enthusiasts.
Job description
At London Bass Institute, we strive to provide adults who want to learn how to play or improve their skills with highly qualified and experienced bass guitar teachers. We aim to provide them with the highest quality bass guitar instruction.
As providing an excellent bass guitar education to adults is our mission and passion, we are looking to work with bass guitar teachers who have a strong understanding of adult enthusiasts and a strong desire to pass on their extraordinary knowledge to those who play for pleasure.
We would love to hear from you if you believe you have the necessary skills to fill this bass guitar teacher position.
Candidate Requirements
- Having a strong playing ability on bass guitar, ideally to grade 8 standard or equivalent
- Having at least 3 years of bass guitar teaching experience
- Having a flexible approach and being able to adapt to a wide range of adult students
- Being able to teach all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced bass players
- Being confident teaching a variety of styles, especially jazz, rock, and other contemporary styles
- Being able to help students develop technique, groove, timing, bass lines, improvisation, and overall musicianship
Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
