Full job description

Intacept Security is expanding and we’re looking for reliable team members to join our mobile night response division. We are an SIA Approved Contractor providing professional protection services to a wide range of commercial sites.

Shift Details

  • Working nights: 6:00pm–6:00am
  • 4 days on, 4 days off rota

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile patrols to safeguard buildings, staff, and visitors
  • Provide a reassuring on-site presence and respond to security issues when required
  • Carry out routine inspections and building checks
  • Open and close premises securely as per client instructions
  • Attend alarm activations and emergency incidents following established procedures
  • Operate security systems, including alarms and access control
  • Maintain accurate digital and written reports of activities and incidents
  • Comply with company policies, industry regulations, and Health & Safety standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
  • Full UK manual driving licence for a minimum of 12 months
  • Applicants must be 25+ for insurance purposes, with no disqualifying endorsements
  • Confident using smartphones and basic mobile software
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone with professionalism
  • Dependable, organised, and able to use good judgement when making decisions

Screening Requirements

Successful candidates will undergo BS 7858 vetting, requiring a fully checkable 5-year work/education history.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.90 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week

  • SIA License (required)
