Job Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Night Shunt Manager, who will work at our client’s prestigious site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fuelling and parking buses while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Managing a shunting and cleaning team on a large site which includes covering sickness, holidays, auditing and stock checks
• Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained across the site.
• Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Understand KPI/SLA’s and to meet these monthly including audits.
• Ensuring strong working relationship with operatives.
• Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Working in a timely manner to ensure vehicles are prepared for the public.
• Working as part of a team.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with shunting and cleaning services.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing shunting/cleaning tasks.

Experience

• Must have experience in management/supervision.
• Have good eye for detail.
• Full clean driver's licence.
• Take pride in there work.
• Have knowledge COSHH.
• Be organised, reliable and trustworthy.
• Will be responsible for cleanliness of vehicles and offices within the premises.
• Must be able to work well with a team.
• Strong customer service skills are essential to ensure a positive experience for clients.
