We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our service Bilberry Lodge in Lancashire.

Experience working within the mental health sector essential


Bilberry Lodge is a specialist residential service providing rehabilitation, care and support to vulnerable women with complex mental health issues.

Purposefully small Bilberry Lodge has capacity for up to 6 female residents, allowing for a calm, relaxing environment.


What you'll be working:

  • Full time hours - 37.5 hours per week
  • Long days including evenings and weekends.
  • Both days & night shifts available.
  • 12.5 hour shifts.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way
  • Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme
  • Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
  • Communicate any issues to the clinical team
  • Accurately report and/or record work activities

What you'll have:

  • A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience working within the mental health sector essential
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
