Are you looking to kick-start your career in finance? We are seeking a motivated Accounting Technician to support our school finance team. This entry-level role requires as a minimum for you to be part AAT qualified or equivalent. A valid UK driving licence is essential as you will conduct on-site school visits (unless disability precludes this).
As an Accounting Technician, you will:
- Provide financial advice and support to head teachers, school budget managers, and governors.
- Conduct on-site visits to schools to offer tailored financial guidance.
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and trust.
- Manage your own workload while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Prepare and present financial information and analysis to stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Minimum part AAT qualified or equivalent.
- A valid UK driving licence (unless disability precludes this).
- Basic knowledge of accounting systems (experience preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with IT software packages, including MS Word and Excel.
