Are you looking to kick-start your career in finance? We are seeking a motivated Accounting Technician to support our school finance team. This entry-level role requires as a minimum for you to be part AAT qualified or equivalent. A valid UK driving licence is essential as you will conduct on-site school visits (unless disability precludes this).

As an Accounting Technician, you will:

  • Provide financial advice and support to head teachers, school budget managers, and governors.
  • Conduct on-site visits to schools to offer tailored financial guidance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and trust.
  • Manage your own workload while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Prepare and present financial information and analysis to stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum part AAT qualified or equivalent.
  • A valid UK driving licence (unless disability precludes this).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting systems (experience preferred but not essential).
  • Familiarity with IT software packages, including MS Word and Excel.
