Fisher & Woods are a leading fresh produce supplier within the area.

Due to increased sales we are recruiting for Picker packers.

Hours: 4pm - 12am

Days: We operate Sunday to Friday, so some Sunday work will be required, working 5 days a week over 6 days.

Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. The position involves physical activity, including heavy lifting, and requires a strong commitment to safety and organisation.

Duties

  • Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Handle materials safely using appropriate techniques, including the use of forklifts when necessary
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards before dispatch
  • Stock shelves and organise warehouse space efficiently to optimise workflow
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the packing area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing targets and deadlines
