Full job description

We are a company who manufacture and create new FMCG consumer brands. These vacancies will be working for our e-liquid brand, Prohibition who are one of the leading e-liquid manufacturers in the UK.

We have a vacancy available at our Maidstone premises STARTING IN EARLY JANUARY to join us on an initial 3 month contract.

Full-time – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, set on a weekly rota.

Shift times – 6am to 3pm / 9am to 6pm / 1pm to 10pm. Flexibility is required.

About the role

Production Operatives sit at the heart of the business and are integral key members of the Production team. Main purpose of the role is to produce, assemble and package products to the agreed specification, maintaining excellent quality throughout.

Duties

  • Working in a busy manufacturing environment on our production assembly line, you will produce and assemble various e-liquid products and will meet daily targets sets from the pulling schedule.
  • Assisting a machine operator with operating various types of machines, you will perform tasks such as filling and capping bottles, labelling and batch coding products, assembling packaging and packing finished products ready for shipping into cartons, boxes and pallets.
  • Follow all safety and quality control procedures ensuring health and safety is followed at all times.
  • Working as a strong team player, assist with opening and cleaning procedures, maintaining a clean workstation and production floor at all times.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment, you will be required to wear full PPE at all times and maintain the highest levels of hygiene standards.

Requirements

  • Good level of physical fitness – the role will entail repetitive and manual handling
  • Strong team player and strong team ethic – willing to pitch in to get the job finished
  • Excellent attention to detail – with a strong eye for quality control
  • Strong communication skills – able to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Conscientious and accountable with an enthusiastic and motivated attitude
  • Efficient numerical skills, strong level of written communication and computer literacy (essential)
  • Previous experience of working in a similar manufacturing or warehousing environment (preferred)
