```Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. As a packer, you will oversee the packing activities on a day to day within the bakery. You will be ensure that products are properly packed and prepared for shipment. This is a crucial role in our bakery operations, as it ensures that our customers receive their orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Duties:
· Quality assurance: ensuring that all items are packed to meet quality and safety standards
· working with the team managing the inventory of packing materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and ordering supplies are needed with good enough notice.
· Sanitation and cleanliness: maintaining a clean and sanitary packing area to prevent contamination
· Process improvements: identifying opportunities for process optimisation, waste reduction and efficiency improvements within the packing department.
working with the team filling out documents on packing activities, including productivity, quality control, and any issues that arise.
· Communication: collaborating with the office, such as production, quality control and logistics to ensure seamless operations and the timely delivery of products.
Experience:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, and warehouse operations preferred
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
