Job Summary
Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality dog food products, supplying major retailers and pet care brands across the UK. Due to ongoing growth and increased production demand, they’re looking to bring in a motivated Production / Yard Operator to join their team.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (42.5 Hours)

Duties

  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the production line (feeding, mixing, packing, labelling)
  • Operating basic machinery safely and efficiently (training provided)
  • Loading and unloading materials, finished products, and deliveries in the yard area
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe - following company hygiene and safety standards
  • Checking and recording product quality against specifications
  • Supporting stock control and movement of goods between yard and production
  • Following all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures at all times

Skills

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or yard environment is preferred but not essential
  • A strong work ethic, good team player attitude, and willingness to learn are essential
  • Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on role
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
