“Leading the World with Innovative Healthcare Solutions that Enhance Lives”

Make a Real Difference in Your Community

At Drive DeVilbiss, we believe in giving back to our local communities. As an Installer/Collector, you’ll play a crucial role in helping people live at home and supporting them to lead better lives. Your work will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for individuals in need—including supporting the NHS, hospitals and care homes to deliver essential services.

Please note the hours for this role are 12 hour days, 4 on 4 off

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll travel between sites (including customer homes) and be responsible for the delivery, installation and training of beds, mattresses and other equipment, in line with infection control policies. Whilst ensuring high standards of care and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To install, collect and exchange equipment as required
  • Plan daily tasks for maximum efficiency
  • Cleaning any products returned to the service centre, such as hospital beds, mattresses, and spare parts from medical equipment which may be heavily soiled
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Handle equipment safely and follow health & safety protocols
  • Maintain van stock and complete accurate paperwork
  • Maintain Company vehicle to a high standard
  • Support additional duties as required by management

What We’re Looking For - Skills & Experience:

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Manual handling and driving skills
  • Emotional resilience when working with vulnerable customers
  • A pro-active and can do attitude
  • This role involves the daily moving and handling of heavy items. Some items can also be awkward to lift or move. The mattresses are of various weights, some in excess of 20kg minimum, and depending on contracts the role can involve the moving and handling of at least 15 mattresses a day (therefore 30 lifts).

Why You'll Love Working With Us

We’re not sharing the salary just yet, but it’s competitive and worth talking about. What really makes us stand out is how proud our team is of the work they do. We make sure that dedication is recognised—not just with pay, but with great benefits and support.

Here’s what you can look forward to, beyond the salary:

  • Generous Annual Leave – 34 days to start, rising to 36 with service, plus your birthday off every year! You can also buy, sell, or carry over leave to suit your lifestyle.
  • Pension Scheme – Helping you plan for a secure future.
  • Employee Assistance Programme – Free, confidential support for your mental, emotional, and financial well-being.
  • Bike2Work Scheme – Save money and stay healthy with tax-efficient bike purchases.
  • Free Onsite Parking – No stress, no extra cost.
  • Long Service Recognition – We celebrate your loyalty and contributions.
  • Staff Discount – Enjoy great savings on our products.
  • Perkbox Access – Unlock a world of perks, discounts, and rewards to make life a little sweeter.
  • Eligibility for some benefits depends on length of service
