Level 3 Nursery Nurse

Location: Hornchurch, Essex

Pay: From £13 per hour

Hours: 24, 30 or 35 hours per week (flexible shifts)

Contract: Permanent, all year round (not term time only)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Hornchurch for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a brand-new, purpose-built nursery with modern facilities, including air-conditioned rooms and a large, well-resourced outdoor garden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, child-led activities
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating nursery environment
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times

Hours & Working Pattern

  • Contracts available for 24, 30 or 35 hours per week
  • Flexible shift patterns across nursery opening hours
  • All-year-round availability required
  • This role is not suitable for school hours only or term-time-only candidates

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Passionate, reliable and committed to high-quality childcare
