Nursery Assistant – Woking, Surrey, GU22
Full or Part Time Working Hours:
- 38 hours over 4 days
- OR 30 Hours over 3 days
- Shifts between 7:30am and 6:30pm

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Nursery Assistant to join our high-quality early years setting in Woking, Surrey. Our nursery provides exceptional childcare and early years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years within a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment.
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to progress into an Early Years Practitioner and build a long-term childcare career within a friendly, professional, and well-established nursery team. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive early years learning environment
- Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
- Engage children in educational, play-based, and outdoor learning activities
- Ensure children’s wellbeing, safety, and enjoyment at all times
- Keep the nursery clean, organised, and welcoming
About You
The ideal Nursery Assistant will:
- Have at least one years of experience in a nursery, childcare, or early years setting
- Good EYFS Knowledge
- Be committed to high-quality childcare, outdoor play, and inclusive early years practice
- Be enthusiastic about working towards or completing a Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Have strong communication skills when working with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Be eligible to work in the UK
