Nursery Assistant – Woking, Surrey, GU22

Full or Part Time Working Hours:

  • 38 hours over 4 days
  • OR 30 Hours over 3 days
  • Shifts between 7:30am and 6:30pm

Salary: £12.21 to £12.50 per hour - Dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Nursery Assistant to join our high-quality early years setting in Woking, Surrey. Our nursery provides exceptional childcare and early years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years within a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment.

This is a fantastic role for someone looking to progress into an Early Years Practitioner and build a long-term childcare career within a friendly, professional, and well-established nursery team. We offer ongoing training, development opportunities, and flexible working options to support your growth in the early years sector. Please note: We are unable to offer school-hours or term-time-only positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive early years learning environment
  • Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
  • Engage children in educational, play-based, and outdoor learning activities

  • Keep the nursery clean, organised, and welcoming

About You

The ideal Nursery Assistant will:

  • Have at least one years of experience in a nursery, childcare, or early years setting
  • Good EYFS Knowledge
  • Be committed to high-quality childcare, outdoor play, and inclusive early years practice
  • Be enthusiastic about working towards or completing a Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Have strong communication skills when working with parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
