Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting. As a RoomAL10045 Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing daily operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and fostering an engaging learning environment. Your ability to communicate effectively in English and manage a team will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead and motivate staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
  • Manage classroom activities, ensuring that all children are engaged and participating.
  • Implement educational programmes that promote early childhood development.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both children and staff.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required, including scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education provided to children.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for child development and education.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
