Full job description
We are seeking an experienced Childcare Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality childcare and education at our 30 place nursery in Stretford. This role is focused entirely on practice, compliance, and staff leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain outstanding early years provision in line with the EYFS
- Ensure full compliance with OFSTED, safeguarding, and statutory requirements
- Prepare for and manage OFSTED inspections
- Support, mentor, and develop staff to promote best practice
- Build positive relationships with parents and professionals
Requirements:
- Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 minimum) with a minimum of 5 years of experience at Level 3 or above
- Management or leadership experience in a day nursery
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, OFSTED and safeguarding requirements
- Confident, supportive leadership style
