Calverton Day Nursery is a welcoming and inclusive early years setting committed to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, learn, and grow.

The Role:
We are looking for both full time/part time passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our team, The role will be working in the following rooms:

Under 2s: 6weeks-24months

Inventors -24months-3 years

We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities-

Full time roles - 40 hours over 4 days.

Part time roles- 30 hours over 3 days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences for children, bringing awe and wonder to each day.
  • Support children’s holistic development
  • Observe, record, and assess children’s progress, planning suitable, appropriate challenge for progression.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, happy and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children

Requirements:

  • Relevant childcare qualifications (Level 2/3 or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children
  • A passion for early years education and child development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to support in other age groups when required
