WHO WE ARE HIRING:
We are hiring A-Level Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Tutors who are eager to inspire and support students on their journey to mastering STEM subjects. At EmPowered STEM, we work with highly motivated students who are aiming to achieve top grades in their A-Levels and secure places at prestigious universities.
We’re looking for tutors who are driven to help students succeed, passionate about STEM, and who embody our core values of Commitment, Compassion, Collaboration, Confidence, and Creativity.
A FEW OF OUR CORE VALUES:
At EmPowered STEM, we believe in a set of core values that guide everything we do. We are committed to helping students reach their full potential through personalized support and guidance. We approach each student with compassion, tailoring our methods to meet their individual learning needs. Collaboration is key to our success, both within our team and with our students, as we strive to provide the best possible learning environment. We aim to build confidence in our students, not just in their academic abilities but also in their approach to challenges. Lastly, we value creativity, always looking for innovative ways to make learning engaging and effective.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The right person for this role is someone who is patient, passionate, and skilled in teaching A-Level subjects. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and personalized lessons that help students master complex concepts, improve their exam techniques, and build their confidence. We strive to create a supportive and open learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring new approaches, making mistakes, and growing through the learning process. You will play a critical role in guiding students through this pivotal stage of their academic careers, helping them reach their full potential. This is a remote position with flexible working hours, allowing you to set your own schedule while making a meaningful impact on students' success.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
This role is perfect for someone who has a degree in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field, and possesses a strong understanding of the A-Level curriculum and exam standards (experience with AQA, OCR, Edexcel, or WJEC boards is a plus). You should have experience tutoring A-Level students and be passionate about helping them succeed academically. Strong communication skills and the ability to form meaningful connections with students are essential for this role. Additionally, you should enjoy working in a team-oriented environment where collaboration and innovation are valued. If you are motivated by the opportunity to help students excel and want to contribute to a dynamic, supportive educational environment, this position is for you.
I can't wait to meet some of you!
