Full job description

We’re working with a respected national training provider that’s looking for a dedicated Employability Tutor to join their team. If you hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Employability and enjoy helping learners build the skills and confidence they need to get into work—whether that’s face-to-face or online—this could be a great opportunity to make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

· Deliver engaging lessons both in person and online

· Lead informative induction sessions to help learners feel confident and prepared for their course

· Track learner progress and offer extra support when needed to help them stay on track

· Adapt teaching materials to suit different learning needs, including those with additional challenges

· Help shape and improve the curriculum to keep content fresh and relevant

· Assess learners’ starting points and build tailored Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with clear, achievable goals

· Give timely, constructive feedback on assessments to support learner growth

Requirements:

· Teaching qualifications at or above level 3 (e.g. PGCE, PTTLS equivalent etc.)

· Minimum level 2 in Maths, English and IT

· Happy to deliver both face-to-face and remote lessons

· Happy to travel across West Yorkshire Region when required (travel costs covered)

· Demonstrable expertise in employability support

· An Assessor qualification (e.g., A1)
