Location: Leicester City Centre, LE1 4PJ
Contract: Part-Time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000 per year pro-rata + perks (negotiable for the right person)
Start Date: ASAP

An exciting opportunity at our brand-new Hylyfe development in Leicester! With our rapid growth since opening the building, we are looking for a Resident Experience and Property Assistant to assist the building manager with day-to-day runnings of the building.

Hylyfe is a vibrant, pet-friendly community that blends modern living with a lifestyle-first approach. Following the success of Hylyfe Nottingham, we’re launching our next flagship building in the heart of Leicester – and we’re on the hunt for an exceptional Building Manager to help bring it to life.

We’re looking for someone proactive, personable and organised, who’s excited by the mix of property management, front-of-house hospitality and community building. No two days will be the same – and we’re happy to train the right person who brings the right energy. Here at Hylyfe we are a fun, close-knit professional and hard-working team, and we are looking for the right person to fit the team and grow with us.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be the face of Hylyfe Leicester – friendly customer service is the most important thing, supporting and managing the daily operations of the building, our residents and our events.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Front of House Concierge: Be the first point of contact for resident queries, maintenance requests and general enquiries
  • Residential Lettings: Arrange viewings, oversee move-ins and carry out inventory reports, assist with enquiries and basic lettings administration and housekeeping
  • Repairs & Maintenance: Manage mid-term inspections, check-out reports, and coordinate any ongoing maintenance
  • Resident Engagement: Assist the building manager in planning resident socials, seasonal events and community engagement activities

About you:

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Warm, confident, and customer-focused
  • Friendly and bubbly
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Able to handle property matters calmly and professionally
  • Hard-working and driven to grow within the company
  • Interested in creating a vibrant community, not just managing a building
  • Experienced in property or hospitality is preferred, but not essential (we’ll train the right person!)

Working hours:

We are currently considering the role as 10am-3pm everyday, or 3 full days a week plus rotational Saturdays.

Our general hours are:

  • Monday–Friday: 9am–5pm
  • Saturday 9am–12pm

We are looking for someone part time in and around these hours. Hours are to be confirmed and we are flexible.

We’re open to adjusting the working pattern for the right person.

Why join Hylyfe?

  • Pet-friendly, people-first culture
  • Autonomy, creativity and variety in your day-to-day
  • The chance to grow with a new building from the ground up
  • Supportive, close-knit team with exciting plans ahead

Inclusivity at Hylyfe

Hylyfe LMP Management Ltd is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
