Zest Optical is working in partnership with a global leader in ophthalmic lenses to recruit a Regional Sales Manager for the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to join a premium manufacturer renowned for innovation, clinical excellence and cutting-edge lens technology.

This is a highly commercial role focused on developing new business while growing existing independent optical accounts across the region. You'll work with practice owners and key decision makers to introduce industry-leading lens solutions, build long-term partnerships and drive sustainable sales growth.

Regional Sales Manager – Role

  • Manage and develop a territory across the North West, driving sales growth and market share.
  • Identify and win new independent optical accounts through proactive business development.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to maximise account performance.
  • Deliver commercial presentations and product demonstrations to practice owners and dispensing teams.
  • Promote premium ophthalmic lens technologies and value-added solutions.
  • Develop strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and identify opportunities to increase product penetration and profitability.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
  • Represent the business professionally, acting as a brand ambassador throughout the region.

Regional Sales Manager – Requirements

  • Previous B2B sales experience within the optical industry.
  • Experience selling ophthalmic lenses, optical equipment or premium eyewear products.
  • A proven track record of developing new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and target-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Regional Sales Manager – Benefits
