Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused Practice Manager to lead our ophthalmology clinic located in St Johns Wood and Harley Street. This critical role requires a dynamic individual who can drive operational excellence, champion exceptional patient experiences, support our sales team in achieving ambitious targets, and maintain impeccable administrative standards. Responsibilities

  • Champion a customer-first culture throughout the clinic, ensuring every patient interaction exceeds expectations
  • Partner with the sales team to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth and achieve monthly targets
  • Maintain meticulous administrative systems, including patient records, appointment scheduling, and compliance documentation
  • Analyze patient feedback and sales metrics to identify opportunities for service enhancement and revenue optimization
  • Lead and inspire the clinical and administrative teams to deliver outstanding customer service at every touchpoint
  • Oversee financial administration, including accurate billing, collections, and budget management
  • Develop and implement customer retention programs and referral initiatives
  • Coordinate with ophthalmologists to ensure seamless patient journeys from consultation to treatment
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights to maximize conversion rates
  • Establish and maintain efficient administrative processes that support both clinical excellence and commercial success

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing management role, preferably in healthcare or retail optics
  • Demonstrated success in supporting sales teams to achieve and exceed targets
  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in revenue management and budget control
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and motivate teams
  • Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in developing and implementing customer service standards and training programs
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Previous experience in ophthalmology, optometry, or optical retail highly advantageous
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences
