SELF EMPLOYED OWNER VAN DRIVER
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated self employed delivery driver with their own vehicle (XLWB/LWB). The position will be working on behalf of one of the most recognised delivery providers in the UK.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Load your vehicle safely and securely.
- Familiarise & Utilise the proof of delivery system (POD).
- Familiarise yourself delivery manifests, ensuring that all products are accounted for.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards.
- Deliver parcels in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery and collection.
- Communicate any issues or delays to the depot/controller as required.
Requirements:
- Own XLWB or LWB van in good condition with valid MOT, tax and business-use insurance.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Confident using a smartphone, apps and sat-nav.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- Right to work in the UK (DBS check may be required).
- Physically fit and able to handle parcels safely (up to 25kg).
