Full job description

We are looking for a new skilled individual to join our growing team as a maintenance person to our existing property portfolio.

You will have your own property stock to look after, maintain the premises, and deal with tenants.

The ideal candidate must have good experience of dealing with people and excellent customer service skills.

You must have:

- Good decorating/painting skills

- Decorating skills

- Basic plumbing knowledge

- Basic electrical knowledge

- General maintenance knowledge

- Basic understanding of commercial, residential and social housing.

- Basic cleaning experience

We expect you to provide a flexible, responsive, high quality caretaking and maintenance service including: cleaning and maintaining our properties to a high standard and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

You will be expected to fully participate in cover arrangements within the caretaking team to ensure proper accessibility to services for tenants and to provide mutual support for priority tasks, e.g. seasonal work and emergency situations.

To maintain a prompt, courteous and helpful response when dealing with, or initiating contact with tenants, other trades and their representatives or outside agencies.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

Occasional weekend call outs to be rotated with other caretakers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
