Full job description

A Junior Paraplanner job for someone on the way up. If you're an experienced IFA Administrator who can already paraplan, or part-qualified and building, this is a firm that will fund your Level 4 and back you all the way. A well-established, independent Chartered Financial Planning firm in Stockport, growing and ready to develop the right person.

Why this job stands out:

  • Level 4 not essential, and your exams are fully funded
  • Real client contact, you will attend meetings, not desk-bound
  • A genuine route into advice in time for the right person
  • Learn from an experienced, hands-on principal
  • Busy, growing practice with excellent client reviews

The package:

  • £34,000 to £38,000 depending on experience
  • Full funding and support for the Level 4 Diploma
  • Employer pension contributions
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Death in service cover
  • Paid parking, and an early finish on Fridays

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing suitability reports across pensions, investments, IHT and protection
  • Technical research and analysis the advisers rely on
  • Attending client meetings and building client relationships
  • Reviewing existing client plans against their objectives
  • Growing your technical knowledge towards full paraplanning
  • Keeping cases accurate and compliant on Intelligent Office

What you'll need:

  • Some paraplanning ability, or strong IFA administration experience
  • Knowledge across pensions, investments and protection
  • A willingness to study towards the Level 4 Diploma
  • Confident dealing with clients
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail

Intelligent Office experience is a bonus, not essential. The Level 4 Diploma is not required to start, the appetite to work towards it is.
